Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Jio,
Bhai Gurmukh Singh Ji had taken the responsibility of writing Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj (Nanaksar Kaleran Wale)’s ‘Jivani’ or in other words biography – entitled Anand Chamatkaar. Bhai Gurmukh Singh Ji would regularly be seen asking members of the congregation to narrate inspiring moments they had witnessed and would then note these down on a piece of paper. On one occasion Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj caught Bhai Gurmukh Singh Ji writing on a piece of paper. Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj asked Bhai Gurmukh Singh Ji what he was doing to which he explained that he was writing Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj’s Jivan.
Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj smiled and said to Bhai Gurmukh Singh Ji – “You may be able to write down some of the occurrences that you see us doing during the daytime, however Gurmukh Singh, how on earth will you narrate of the nights we spend being hugged by Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj!?”
In a similar manner, Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj (Rara Sahib Wale)’s Jivan was written by Sant Giani Mohan Singh Ji ‘Azaad’ entitled Ruhani Sandesh.
Before coming to the UK, Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj (Rara Sahib Wale) addressed Sant Giani Mohan Singh Ji ‘Azaad’ and said: “At this present moment you write down occurrences of what you have heard from other people. If only you would come with us to England – you would see these occurrences in practical action. When our time comes, our Soul will have left our body and yet the body you see will still be breathing…”
And it happened as so, when Sant Baba Mohinder Singh Ji (Jarg Sahib Wale) felt for Sant Ji Maharaj’s pulse, they could still hear it – even though Sant Ji Maharaj had passed away.
Please forgive us for any mistakes.
