In many of the Kirtan Divaans that took place in the year 1975, Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj would often refer to the passing away of many prestigious individuals whether they were Gurus, Saints or Kings and constantly explain that death is something that cannot be avoided, as it is the code of conduct that Parmeshar Waheguru has prescribed for the world to abide by. Sant Ji Maharaj once used the analogy of cattle in reference to their own heavenly abode; “Cattle spend several hours of their day roaming through fields upon fields consuming food, however after their day begins to come to an end, the cattle seek to go home as they are at most comfort there. In the same way, I have been away from Sachkhand for a long 70 years now, I wish to return and become one with Waheguru…”

ਕਬੀਰਾ ਮਰਤਾ ਮਰਤਾ ਜਗੁ ਮੁਆ ਮਰਿ ਭਿ ਨ ਜਾਨੈ ਕੋਇ 

Kabeer, the world is dying – dying to death, but no one knows how to truly die.

Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji (Pehowa Wale) reflects on Sant Ji Maharaj’s life by saying: “Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj came from Sachkhand, throughout their life they practically lived in Sachkhand and after their passing away returned to Sachkhand…”
