Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Jio,

A Sikh once came to visit Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj. Upon arriving, he began to explain that his relative who he lived with was not working hard enough at home and not fulfilling his worldly responsibilities to their potential. The Sikh was expecting Sant Ji Maharaj to scold his relative and thus give him the command to work harder. However Sant Ji Maharaj completely ignored what the man had said and instead said: “What work? If you are so desperate to have this work done, why don’t you do it yourself?”

Hence, Sant Ji Maharaj did not look at the fact that the related Sikh had some faults and instead completely ignored them. Sant Mahapurkh are not fond of hearing gossip about others as they are above these things. Unlike us, they do not attempt to drag people down, but instead attempt to join them with Waheguru as much as possible. Many people often fear going to Mahapurkh in the thought that they may be judged or looked down upon. However, Pooran Mahapurkhs who are the very form of Waheguru have no need to look at others faults or look down upon others.

ਅਉਗਣੁ ਕੋ ਨ ਚਿਤਾਰਦਾ ਗਲ ਸੇਤੀ ਲਾਇਕ

He does not remind me of my faults; He hugs me close in His embrace.
ਮੁਹਿ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਸੋਈ ਦੇਵਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੁਖਦਾਇਕ

Whatever I ask for, He give me; the Lord is my peace-giving father.
Please forgive us for any mistakes.
