Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Jio,
Before the 1947 partition of India and Pakistan, Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj would regularly travel to the city of Lahore (now located under Pakistani terority). Sant Ji Maharaj would stroll upon the shore of the Raavi River whilst maintaining a very fast speed when walking.
A Muslim Fakeer who was covered in mud noticed Sant Ji Maharaj and began to run towards Sant Ji Maharaj. The Muslim Fakeer approached Sant Ji Maharaj and gave Sant Ji Maharaj a hug. The Muslim Fakeer said – “I have truly witnessed the blessed vision of Allah (God) today!”
“I am low, my friend is high, I have discovered friendship with the high. I am a sacrifice to those high people that make friends with the low.”
As evident from this short Saakhi, Pooran Mahapurkh are not concerned with the physical appearance of an individual or what state they are in. All that mahapurkh look for in individuals is the love and faith they have whilst serving Guru Sahib and humanity. Had Sant Ji Maharaj not been a Pooran Mahapurkh, then they would of not accepted the love showed by this Muslim Fakeer, had Sant Ji Maharaj not been Pooran, they would of brushed aside the Fakeer due his physical appearance. But no, if this Muslim individual offered love to Sant Ji Maharaj, then he received love in return. Sant Mahapurkh do not judge an individual on their religion, their virtues or their sins – all are equal in the eyes of Sant Mahapurkh, as Sant Mahapurkh have the acknowledgement that all human beings are created equally by the Lord Waheguru.
