Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Jio,
In the town of Calcutta, a lady who had an extreme case of eczema approached Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj. She requested Sant Ji Maharaj to cure her of her eczema as soon as possible. As individuals, any pain we experience is a result of our previous actions (the concept of karma – the result of good actions is peace and the result of bad actions is pain). Sant Ji Maharaj assured the woman that she would be cured.
When Sant Ji Maharaj arrived in the UK, their feet would severely ache to the extent that they would barely be able to walk. The pain that the lady had requested to be taken away, was taken by Sant Ji Maharaj upon themselves. Mahapurkh specifically enter this world in order to take away the pain and worries of the troubled upon themselves.
Sant Ji Maharaj’s feet would begin to ache so bad, that they were at some points even unable to stand up in Ardas. The Jatha Singhs began to request Sant Ji Maharaj if they could stop doing Kirtan, as they were finding it difficult to see Sant Ji Maharaj going through such hassle and pain. However, Sant Ji Maharaj refused and insisted that it is their duty to heal the troubled and to do Katha-Kirtan until their last breath.
Despite having achieved the aim of life, Sant Mahapurkh are not selfish and instead are loving towards others even to the extent displayed by Sant Ji Maharaj – Sant Mahapurkh practically give their body as service to others.
Please forgive us for any mistakes.
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Jio.
