Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Jio.
The following Saakhi is very similar to the one posted last week – just as the mysterious Mahapurakh had prophesied the coming future of Rara Sahib, Baba Budh Singh Ji (A Mahapurkh who stayed at Reru Sahib during Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji Maharaj’s time) gave a similar prophecy. Baba Budh Singh Ji was responsible for looking after the room where Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji would rest and during this time, Baba Ji had attained a high spiritual stage through carrying out service of the Gurdwara.
It hadn’t been long since Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj and Sant Baba Kishan Singh Ji Maharaj had settled in the jungle of Rara Sahib when upon hearing of this, Baba Budha Singh Ji joined both Mahapurkh, despite being of a very old age. Baba Budh Singh Ji would also arise at the same time as Sant Ji Maharaj and join them in their daily meditation.
One day, Baba Budh Singh Ji approached Sant Baba Kishan Singh Ji and asked for permission to speak with Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji. Sant Baba Kishan Singh Ji replied: “What is that you need? If you need something, ask me instead?” Baba Budh Singh Ji explained that they had been seeing something for a couple of days (through the spiritual advances that Baba Ji had made) that they really want to tell Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji about to which Sant Baba Kishan Singh Ji laughed and asked him to explain what exactly it was.
Baba Budh Singh Ji said: “Not in a manner like this, it is something that cannot be told, I have to physically show you. Come with me… Let me show you where the border of Rara Sahib will be… how beautiful and how peaceful this land will become…” Sant Baba Kishan Singh Ji insisted on Baba Budh Singh Ji not putting their old fragile body in any trouble as it was very hot that day. Upon Sant Baba Kishan Singh Ji’s advice, Baba Budh Singh Ji stood at the bridge of the village and described the transformation that will become of Rara Sahib.
“This whole landscape will be transformed into a busy environment full of Sangat rejoicing in high spirits and the Gurdwara itself will be an embodiment of peace.” Upon hearing this, Sant Kishan Singh Ji asked how such a system will operate and who will be responsible for the several duties. Sant Baba Kishan Singh Ji explained that they would prefer to be away from these things as they wish to remain tension-free and not having to worry about others. However, Baba Budh Singh Ji humbly joined their hands and stated – “You have nothing to worry about… He who has given us such a blessing will himself be the sustainer… However, it’s impossible for this not to happen. The aura of both yours and Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji’s meditation is growing on a daily basis; you two will transform this land completely. This derelict piece of land that people are scared to cross through on their own, will be transformed, providing resources such as hospitals, schools, colleges, transport and libraries for the community to appreciate. This may seem impossible at this present time, but I assure you that this will come about in due time…”
On the same evening, Baba Budh Singh Ji requested permission from Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji and Sant Baba Kishan Singh Ji to leave. Baba Ji left with the following: “I do not have long left and wish to spend my final moments at Reru Sahib, please give me permission to leave…”
The next morning, after having had a Ishnan and doing Darshan of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj, Baba Budh Singh Ji passed away after listening to Asa Di Vaar Kirtan.
Please forgive us for any mistakes.
