Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Jio,
The Land of ‘Alanmbe’ in India was cursed by ShivJi ‘Bhole Naath’. Shiv Ji gave bachan that all those who will die in the city of Halanmbe will go straight to hell and it was believed that all that die on the Land of ‘Benaras’ will go straight to heaven. Bhagat Kabeer Ji (who is considered the Shromani Bhagat) spent a large portion of their life in Benaras. When Bhagat Kabeer Ji’s final moments arrived, Bhagat Ji made a request to be transported to the city of Halanmbe so that they may leave their body there. Bhagat Kabeer Ji’s Sevadaars reminded Bhagat Kabeer Ji that the Bachan given by ShivJi clearly states that all those that die in the city of Halanmbe will go straight to hell. Bhagat Kabeer Ji reassured the Sevadaars that they were aware of this and that they wish to go to hell and not heaven!
Bhagat Kabeer Ji arrived at Halanmbe. Parmeshar Waheguru sent deities (Devteh) to bring Bhagat Kabeer Ji to Sachkhand. Bhagat Kabeer Ji ignored the deities and reminded them that ShivJi had given Bachan that all those that die in the city of Halanmbe will go to hell. Bhagat Kabeer Ji insisted on going to hell. The deities explained that they were sent by Parmeshar Waheguru to collect them. Bhagat Kabeer Ji told the deities to tell Parmeshar Waheguru that they do not wish to go to heaven and will follow through in accordance to ShivJi’s Bachan and go to hell. After failed persuasion, the deities arrived in Waheguru’s sanctuary and explained the stubbornness that Bhagat Kabeer Ji was displaying.
Parmeshar Waheguru said – “If Bhagat Kabeer Ji was to go to hell – hell would become heaven…”
Approaching the days of August 25th/26th 1975, Sant Ji Maharaj spoke openly about their coming death and significance of the body and what our aim of life is, although the congregation didn’t understand directly what Sant Ji Maharaj was trying to say, Sant Ji Maharaj’s jatha all knew that it was their time to depart.
Sant Ji Maharaj left for their heavenly abode in between the time of the 25th August and the amritvela of 26th of August. It’s believed when Sant Ji Maharaj left their body, they were sitting in a lotus position, with their legs crossed and their mind last focused on the Lord Waheguru. This is believed to have only be done by two individuals in history, one of them being Sant Ji Maharaj and the other Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji Maharaj, the sixth Guru of the Sikhs.
Sant Ji Maharaj left their body in Wolverhampton UK at the following Address and is available for darshan on weekends 9am-5pm and weekdays with appointment:
