This blog is a humble attempt at showcasing some events in the life of Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj (Rara Sahib Wale) and highlighting the worldwide seva done by Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji (Pehowa Wale) and Sant Baba Mohan Singh Ji (Pehowa Wale)
One day after conducting many Kirtan Divans, Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj (Rara Sahib Wale) returned to their Bhora Sahib and gave their Sevadaars a strict instruction to not open the doors of their Bhora Sahib to any visitors – even if the Lord themselves was to come!
Sant Baba Isher SIngh Ji (Nanaksar Wale)
The Sevadaars proceeded to do as instructed, however to their astonishment, Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj (Nanaksar Kaleran Wale) came to visit out of the blue. The Sevadaars, fearing that they would be scolded by Sant Ji Maharaj should they not follow the instructions they had been given, informed Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj (Nanaksar Wale) about Sant Ji Maharaj’s orders.
Refusing to oblige, Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji (Nanaksar Wale) approached the doors of the Bhora Sahib and opened them. Sant Ji Maharaj was shocked upon seeing the random appearance of Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji (Nanaksar Wale) and said – “Little did I know that the Lord would actually come to see me themselves!” Sant Ji Maharaj then received Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji (Nanaksar Wale) with much affection.
The love between these two souls was something extremely special and it is amazing how we come to learn of new Saakhiya as we meet new individuals who all share their personal experiences.
The love between the true Sants of that era is something that we should learn from today. We see in today’s age that those who claim to be Sants and Gursikhs are constantly engaging in one another’s slander and bickering. The examples set by our elder Sants and Gursikh role models are something we need to implement into our lifestyles. We need to forget our personal agendas and contributions to the Panth and instead look at the Panth from a collective angle.
