Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Jio,
Dheer Singh Chohan from the village Mataour (one mile away from the town Daraale) was a devotee of Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj (Rara Sahib Wale). In 1968, he arrived at Gurdwara Karamsar Rara Sahib and explained his household situation. He went on to reveal that he had eight daughters and yearned to have a son.
Sant Ji Maharaj glanced upon his teary eyes and assured him to maintain hope – “Do not worry, the true Guru will bless you, the blessings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj are limitless.”
Sant Ji Maharaj then gave Dheer Singh some fruit and ordered him to feed them to his wife upon arriving home. Sant Ji Maharaj then gave a final order for both husband and wife to remain steady fast in Gursikhi. Sant Ji Maharaj told Dheer Singh to ensure him and his wife awake at Amritvela and both carry out six 108 Mala’s (rosary bead chants) of Sri Mool Mantar and then to pray in the sanctuary of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. Adopting this order, Dheer Singh and his wife were blessed with a son.
The amount of individuals whose lives were transformed by entering the company of Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj (Rara Sahib Wale) is truly unexplainable and limitless. There is truly no end to Sant Ji Maharaj’s blessings – whether these were during Sant Ji Maharaj’s time on earth from 1905-1975, after this time and even up until this very day! Those who fixate their trust and faith upon Sant Ji Maharaj are blessed in accordance to the faith they upheld.
Some may argue that Sants join the congregation with themselves, however as evident in many of the Saakhis on this website, the ultimate goal of Sants is to increase our connection to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj and even when solving our problems, a true Sant will guide us in the direction of Gurbani and not with their own mortal frame.
Please forgive us for any mistakes.
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Jio
