Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Jio,

A saint once came to visit Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj (Rara Sahib Wale) with a question in his mind. Upon arriving and paying his respects he asked – “Sant Ji, I have tried many methods but my mind doesn’t seem to concentrate during meditation. My mind is always wandering elsewhere and I am unable to experience peace. How can one achieve a state of concentration?”

Sant Ji Maharaj in answering the saint’s question said – “Consider every breath of yours as though it be your last. For example the breath on which you chant the Lord’s name, consider it as your last breath but continue chanting – you will achieve concentration and peace.”

The saint vowed that he would practise this new method. A couple of days later the saint came to visit Sant Ji Maharaj again and praised Sant Ji Maharaj for blessing him with this new method that helped him to at last achieve concentration and peace.

Please forgive us for any mistakes.
