Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Jio,

“Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj (Rara Sahib Wale) were such a powerful being that even the seasons and the weather operated in accordance to their will…” (Bachan Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji Pehowa Wale)

Sant Ji Maharaj were once conducting Kirtan Diwans local to Rara Sahib. It was the summer month of June – one of the hottest times to be in India. Rainfall is often rare during these months, however when it does rain – it doesn’t immediately stop. Local villagers had finally managed to organise Sant Ji Maharaj’s Kirtan within their village and upon seeing large black clouds were left fretting that the Diwaans may have to be cancelled. Individuals were placing bets amongst themselves over this and others were predicted the rain fall to start any time soon.

When Sant Ji Maharaj arrived into the tent where the Kirtan was being conducted, some were getting prepared to leave as the sign of rain was apparent. However, Sant Ji Maharaj sang the Dharna – “Vass Nahi Jinde Veh, Jo Eih Varsai, Jo Eih Varsai”. As soon as Sant Ji Maharaj placed their blessed hands on the harmonium, all of the black clouds began to dispel and the Diwan continued as normal.

After reading about Sant Ji Maharaj’s Jeevan, its safe to conclude that such instances meant nothing to them. What we as normal human beings would consider as perhaps a miracle, was nothing to Sant Ji Maharaj. Its said that Sant Ji Maharaj’s presence itself had a magical pull – upon witnessing them many would feel attached and would accept Sant Ji Maharaj as one of their own. It was due to this that many began saying that Sant Ji Maharaj carries out a ‘Mohani Mantar’ (a spell that causes people to get attached to them), however what is a attachment spell in front of someone who has become attached to Parmeshar Waheguru themselves. Someone who has become the form of Waheguru themselves has no need for trying to attract people to themselves as that attraction is automatic!

Please forgive us for any mistakes.
