Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Jio,
Sardar Bachittar Singh, a station master from the village Dhablan had a deep desire to meet with a Pooran Mahapurkh. He spent many years of his life searching for Sant Sangat but all to avail, whether it was through doing Darshan of various Gurdwara Sahib’s and even to the extent of attending sermons held by the ‘Sant Nirankari Mission’. However, despite his efforts, he was unable to achieve any peace.
In the month of November in the year 1938, Bachittar Singh had the opportunity to gain Darshan of Sant Ji Maharaj at Dhablan. When Bachittar Singh arrived in the Kirtan Divaan, he was taken away by the Amrit Mei Kirtan Varkha. His trembling desire now ceased to exist and he was able to experience the peace that he had been searching for all these years. After the Divaan, Bachittar Singh asked Sant Ji Maharaj to bless them with the understanding and methods of chanting Naam after which Bachittar Singh began experiencing excelled amounts of bliss.
Bachittar Singh became a lifelong devotee of Sant Ji Maharaj and would travel far distances for the opportunity to hear Sant Ji Maharaj doing Kirtan. Bachittar Singh’s duty as a station master was later reassigned to far away in Shimla. Upon hearing this, Bachittar Singh became extremely upset and worried about the fact that he would no longer be able to attend Sant Ji Maharaj’s Divaans. He carried out a sincere Ardas to Waheguru and with the grace of the Lord, his duty was reassigned to Dhablan and he was able to experience Sant Ji Maharaj’s Ruhani Kirtan Updesh on several more occasions.
Please forgive us for any mistakes.
